The surrounding region is enjoyable all year long. During the spring, the asparagus and strawberries, mushroom gathering, typical village with their half-timbered houses and churches. During fall, you will hear the deer's squall or book a donkey ride with a game warden guiding you. Or perhaps, you will just enjoy a nice walk by the Loire in the old Chambord port, in Saint Dyé or Cours sur Loire.
