It would be a mistake not to stay at our hotel due to its rather remarkable location and the place with the most beautiful view in La Turballe: overlooking the bay… and what’s more, you only have to cross the road to enjoy activities like the sailing school, the kids’ club, the 5km of beach, bathing in the sea and topping up your tan… (2nd biggest beach of the Loire Atlantique after La Baule). We’re a little out the way so you can avoid the summer crowds of the town centre, but we’re just 500m from all the amenities like the shops, the many restaurants, the bars, the fish market, the marina and the iconic fishing port (8th biggest in France and a specialist in anchovies, sardines and albacore tuna) and museum.
From La Turballe (in the high season), you can go and discover the Morbihan Islands: Belle-Ile, Houat and Hoëdic.
Come and discover our region: explore the several Vélocéan cycle paths! By the ocean and the salt marshes, across rocky outcrops and salt flats, there are more than 20km of cycle paths which leave La Turballe and follow the no.7 “fishermen’s soul” route.
Safe and well-maintained, these paths will lead you to mills, fountains, crosses and castles.
Signposts, as well as markings on the ground with arrows and green or white bike logos, line the route and show you where to go.
There are so many places to visit: the small town with plenty of character Piriac-sur-Mer, La Turballe’s fishing port and museum, the Kerbroué mill, the Trescalan belvedere, the Pen Bron peninsula and its Traict du Croisic inlets, the salt marshes and their museums, Guérande’s city walls, and La Baule’s beaches… More information can be found at my cycle route no.7
For an hour, for a day or for several days, follow in the footsteps of customs officers for a real moment of discovery and pleasure. Recognisable by its red and white stripes, the GR 34 or the “Path of the Customs Officers” is a coastal path (the GR 34 travels the length of the Breton coast for more than 1,800 kilometres and passes through La Turballe).
From Saint Molf to Saint Nazaire via La Turballe, you’ll discover breathtaking views, rocky outcrops and a wild coastline, beaches and small coves.

Throughout the year, in summer and in winter, you can come and discover the commune (La Turballe has been certified by the European Blue Flag campaign) with its typical fishing port, its magnificent Pen Bron peninsula and the region’s abundance of tourist attractions. It’s located on the Côte d’Amour and on the Guérande Peninsula between Guérande (Fortified Medieval Town of Ducs de Bretagne – Town of Art and History) just 7km away and Piriac-sur-Mer (Small Town with Character) just 5km away, in the heart of the salt marshes (White Country) and at the gates of the Brière regional nature park with its thatch-roofed villages.
