The Bas-Pesé Water Mill sits in the middle of three major Châteaux: Blois, Chambord and Cheverny. Many smaller but just as fascinating Châteaux surround it: Château de Troussay, Beauregard, Château de Villesavin, The old Bracieux Hall, Château de Fougères, Château du Moulin, Chateau de Talcy...

In the summertime, the nearby Mont-Près-Chambord village offers a natural swimming pond, the first in Europe. You can also enjoy many more nautical activities on the Loire, right outside Blois.
The cheverny golf course is 6km from the watermill.
Several riding schools surround us.
You can also fly over the Châteaux in a balloon.
You can hire bikes in Blois, Chambord, Cours Cheverny or Bracieux.
You can relax in our gardens or take our boat to the Château of Villesavin or on a fishing trip.
The Breil airfield, north of Blois allows you to fly over the surrounding area on an airplane or an helicopter.
The renown Beauval Zoo is at 30 minutes and remains a major attraction for kids.
You can visit the Giens Faience workshop.
You can also have an horseback trip from Montrichard to Chambord with a night at the Watermill for the guests and at the Villesavin Château for the horses.
